This course is designed for personnel with the duty to respond
to emergencies. It covers caring for and recognizing breathing
& cardiac emergencies, adult CPR, infant CPR, child CPR, two rescuer
CPR, AED and use of a resuscitation mask & bag valve mask. A Pocket
mask is included.

FIRST AID / CPR / AED
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
This course teaches instructor candidates to plan, organize and conduct First Aid/ CPR/AED American Red Cross courses.
Pre-requisites - Be at least 16 yrs old.
Must be certified in FIT* within the last 12 months. Candidates must pass each
section of the pre-course written exam with a score of at least 80%. Demonstrate competence in the skills evaluation. Also, successfully complete/pass a pre-course session consisting of testing all the skills required to pass the basic CPR & First Aid classes (including the written tests).
